So technically, statistically speaking, our store 2401 location is $100K down in sales this season already. Our General Manager, Mike Tripp, is doing an excellent job in keeping our spirits up. Our location has one of the largest Jewelry Repair Centers of all the Jared's around the Region. Hence, we get a lot of walk-ins for Jewelry Repair vs. Purchases. I work the Pandora counter. I sell the Pandora Charms, bracelets, necklaces, rings and earings. They offer the charms in 14k Gold and Sterling Silver. I have to say, I absolutely LOVE my job and hope that they keep me on after the holiday season, as they are a distinguished group of individuals whom I believe I fit right in with.
As for a solution to their store sales right now, I suggested one, but was completely shot down with, "We just hired you to work the Pandora Counter." So, they listened, but were unsympathetic to any solutions that I might have to say or recommend. And personally, I didn't take it personally. I just think that they don't think outside the box at all. Their problems stem around a THIS LOCATION ONLY dilima. None of the other stores are suffering in Sales quite as much as this store is. As far as the season is concerned, all the other stores seem to have really successful sales numbers. As far as my personal goals are concerned, I have to admit that I am the only one in the store who successfully meets and exceeds their sales goals. But of course my sales numbers are lower in Price Number than the rest of the crew. But in lieu of my Price range, I've met every Sale that comes to the store to purchase without turning anyone away or not being able to meet their needs if they come seeking the Pandora. So, I close every deal. I also have multiple purchases per Sale. So, one of the weeks statistics on me was my Sales were sitting at 657%. I usually hand over the sales of diamonds and other products to the specialty counters and Diamondologists. After all they are Certified to sell Diamonds. I'm not that educated. I know the four C's, Cut, Color, Clearity and Caret, but as far as any other pertinent information, I've no information yet. Hey! I just started! I've not worked at Jewelry before. All my volunteer work basically boils down to time on hands, care and concern, versus item specialty. But that makes me more Customer Service Oriented and Quality Control aware vs. Product Awareness. But I suppose if I were to take my "EXTRACURRICULAR" business SERIOUSLY, meaning this board here, I would have to take the time to get to know my business on the INSIDE LEVEL first to be able to be of any use or help, which is SPECIFICALLY WHY I've set myself up this way.
I bill my consultations at $10,000.00 and 3% of the first year's Net Profit, with a stipulation that my suggestions/psychic intuitiveness consults will produce Positively Augmenting a business exponentially over the course of a year. The initial Consultation is $10,000.00. But what I do is work from the INSIDE of a business as well to figure out the how's and why's a business is failing from the inside/out. I don't just do a "READING" on a Business Owner/Partner or Team of Board Directors. I OBSERVE AND KEEP MY EYE ON THE BALL, so to speak. Potentially, it could be just a weak link in the Chain. Leading to a specific area of failed sales. Like this particular location has, or a complete overhaul of a system of Operations, or basically just the wrong business Owner to Psychically or Spiritually hold the business, resulting in a Pure OUTRIGHT business flip.
There are solutions to this particular dilima that this location holds, but the Assistant Manager was unwilling to listen to my suggestions and I believe, didn't go ABOVE AND BEYOND to resolve his Stores BEST INTERESTS AND WELL BEING. He could have taken my suggestions to Corporate HQ. HE Could have Made his own SUGGESTIONS and taken them Corporate. I say the GM, Mike Tripp was more Open to my suggestions than the Assistant Manager as he didn't even really take my suggestions seriously.
What MIGHT I DO? I will do nothing for the time being except post here. I on occassion write various CEO's and CORPORATE Board memebers of different Entities. Like the man said, here, I was only hired to work the Pandora Counter. With three weeks under my belt and consistently exceeding my sales goals, I think "I" am doing the RIGHT THING. I can't speak for the others. Hey? I do what I DO.
Truth is, they don't know who is on my ADDRESS LISTS of Christmas and Chanukah Cards along with the Seasons greetings that I send to others. I'm NOT Going to tell YOU either. But the list doesn't just go out to my family members. I send Cards all over the world and Hand Write Personal Messages to each individual I send to. Perhaps, one certain somebody that I send to might look me up and read my blogs. Sarah Blakely did!!! She even sent me a PERSONAL FEDEX back. She is just one CERTAIN Somebody. I will let you know that some of my Cards and Letters also reach foreign dignitaries and Royalty Houses. Leaders of Corporations and Countries. I was built like that. That's because I CARE ABOUT THEM. I don't write them just to solicite my business, even though I do send my business Cards out so they can reference me if they should need. ButI not only write them, I stay up with them and Correspond REGULARLY with them. I even keep up with religious figures, such as the Dalia Lama. His Secretary Corresponds from him to me personally, but of course he's too busy to keep up with just anyone. So, I don't claim to have a GREAT IN with anyone. Like I said, I just DO WHAT I DO, BECAUSE I CARE. If I wasn't sensitive on multiple levels, what I do wouldn't work at all. And I have been being successful in many areas.
I take each day at a time. I don't rush things and enthusiastically on result, I have to say, I never feel as if this is all a wash. I definately have a rhyme and a reason to everything. Opportunities come on a daily basis. I stay aware and informed. That's all I do. Then psychically, I apply my intuitions on how to improve situations.
